They grew up eating real bugs and playing in the sun.

Well... I must say that I am guilty of knowing very little about food production. However, the average chicken breast I eat is likely not developed as healthy as this. It was encouraging to note that these chickens were not stressed out as they went under the knife. In fact, they had reached a Zen-like state. I'd never seen an animal butchered previous to this. It affirmed my belief that animals should be in the sun, running around, and eating lots of bugs.

They grew up eating real bugs and running in the sunshine...

I watched the butchers do their work. Despite the blood, those sacrificed died with far more dignity than many others in darker places.

The 2008 EBS Summit

Well... Thursday and Friday I've been out in Banff at our planning summit. Me and the group of teachers I hang with (the EBS) have been given money by the ATA to come out here and do some professional development for a couple days.

It has been very nice. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
